Application

Synthetic Route
Add 18.1 g of glycine and 100 mL of water to the reaction flask, then stir. Add 16 g of sodium hydroxide to prepare a 0.01 mol/L alkaline solution and adjust the pH to alkaline. Next, add 8 g of (Boc)₂O and react for 2 hours; then add another 8 g of (Boc)₂O and react for another 2 hours; finally, add 9 g of (Boc)₂O and react for 4 hours.
Extract impurities three times using 12 mL of n-hexane per extraction cycle according to Chemicalbook. After adjusting the pH to 3 with 3 mol/L hydrochloric acid, extract the product three times using 0.6 L of dioxane per cycle. Combine the ester layers and wash with saline solution until neutrality is achieved. Add 15 g of anhydrous sodium sulfate and dry for 10 hours.
The filtrate was filtered, then concentrated under reduced pressure and dried. Subsequently, 60 mL of n-hexane was added and stirring was performed to induce crystallization. The product was obtained by centrifugation and dried, yielding 25.0 g of product with a yield of 93.87%.
